No and NO: Sertraline is an ssri used for depression and anxiety. It sounds like you need a antihistamine like zyrtec or benadryl (diphenhydramine).

Not an MAOI: Sertraline belongs to a class of medications known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or ssris. It is indicated for the treatment of depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and panic disorder among others. Maois or monoamine oxidase inhibitors are a different class of antidepressants. Check with your physician for an appropriate medication to treat your symptoms. Take care.
