Breakthrough bleed: Irregular periods are quite common in Nexplanon users. About 1/3 of users will experience spotting. Estrogen can be used to help. Typically doctors give it for more than 7 days. Birth control pills for 2-3 months sometimes work better. Discuss with your Obgyn the options.
