Not pregnant: A woman is not pregnant if she gets her normal regular menstrual period. If she starts her normal regular period AFTER having sex, then she is not able to become pregnant until she gets a new deposit of semen (sperm) from more sex. Thus, she would not need to take emergency contraception after her normal regular period starts. In the future, she must avoid the need for emergency contraception.
