Can an insect bite exacerbate vertigo, or is my vertigo just really bad today?

Hard to answer: If the insect bite causes systemic reaction such as a mild West Nile infection, which is flu-like, this could exacerbate pre-existing problems, and make underlying symptoms temporarily worse. But the prime focus to me, would be the cause of your vertigo. Do you need help in this area?
