I am not sure what : P.A. is. I personally do not use plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) for psoriasis as it has been link with causing flare or outbreak for psoriasis. I would recommend to choose other DMARDs or biological esp there are a lot of choices now.

Psoriatic Arthritis: Plaquanil is used for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus arthritis. Sometimes it aggravates psoriasis, so is to be avoided if PA. Depending on severity, methotrexate, Humira, (adalimumab) Otezla, and others are used.
