Such behavior is: physiologically typical: c/w relaxation of arterioles (under mind/brain control) controlling blood flow to skin capillaries, thus allowing more blood flow to skin, "flushing", with an ↑ed pink (RBCs) color visible & ↑ed warmth (from deeper organ tissues).
