I have gastritis and went on the bland diet. feeling good w protonix (pantoprazole) but pain came back. stool is watery and mucousy and yellow. what could it be?

Gastritis, Protonix (pantoprazole): I understand your concern. Protonix helped reduce the acidity in stomach. Due to “pain came back” and for history of Gastritis, Diagnosis needs to be made. Protonix may cause diarrhea, abnormal stools, gastroenteritis, or moniliasis.
