Watch closely: If you are not sure then you want to watch it very carefully and would be best to put a cool pack on the wound for the first 48 hours.If the redness seems to spread or the drainage turns to a white or milky discharge and the pain gets worse then you should see a provider to have this checked out and evaluated.Baking soda and water plaster to the site sometimes will soothe the area. Checked: Have him checked, a swelling with drainage could be many things, including an abscess that would need to be drained. All the best.
