Not sure what u mean: since there is no "scan" for depression, autoimmune or otherwise. Many autoimmune diseases, such as system lupus erythematosis (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis and many others can be associated with depression. The diagnosis is made by asking questions and doing a mental status examination, and autoimmune disorders have a number of blood tests. Your primary care provider needs to order those tests.
