Doctor can help: Usually, when a person has more than a couple of moderate symptoms for a couple of days, she can consider seeing her doctor. If symptoms have been going on for a week, it's doctor time. She should write down the sequence of events, from when they started, and include what medications were tried, plus what makes symptoms better and what makes them worse, and give the information to her doctor.
