My husband (32) had a chest xray and a small nodular opacity was found (size unk). nonsmoker with a history of pneumonia. how worried should we be?

Probably not but: Anything like this needs further workup. Is there some type of industrial exposure.? Why did he have the chest xray. In some parts of the country nodular density are more common due to environmental exposure. See your doc and he may need to get a CT to complete the workup.
