I have a rough area of skin under my chin and it has a huge painful pimpleish lump on it... i poked it with a needle today and it bled, it's not gone?

Please don't poke it: It is not advised to do so with any skin lesions. You bring the risk of infection or damage to nearby or deep structures. In your case you might have had a small abscess and as you poked it, it bled inside and blood mixed with pus came out. I would advise to see a doctor to clear the lump as needed. Please be aware that using needles or other instruments to the skin might cause scarring.
