Babies vary!: The best way to know if your baby is getting enough is through his growth. If a baby is growing and gaining normally, he's likely getting enough. You can also gain information through the number of wet diapers your baby is putting out (6-8 wet diapers per day is pretty common). Your baby may like the breast feeding at night because of the extra warmth and contact that only you can give him!

Bedtime ritual: You have taught your child to require you be part of his sleepy time ritual. If you feed him as he wakens and not again until after he has slept, you can change this pattern.Parents who rock or feed their babies to sleep will experience 4x the problems of other parents with sleep disturbances for the first 4 years.
