Ibs: Possibilities include irritable bowel syndrome aggravated by certain foods(see fodmap dietary advice), lactose intolerance or gluten intolerance. Try to identify whether certain foods cause abdominal distress or irregular bowel activities. To relieve gaseous distension, drink hot water, apply heat to the abdomen, take mylanta or simethicone after meals to prevent gas buildup. See gastroenterolog
