A member asked:

Are the injuries sustained by the people in game of thrones realistic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This isn't exactly: a medical questions, but, based on the mechanism of death, most character's injuries are realistic. Your head gets lopped off, you die. You're nailed to a cross, you die. Shot thru the heart by a arrow, die. in the back, you might survive if you don't get infection or a punctured lung. Severe burns from a flame thrower (i.e. dragon) & you get burned to a crisp, u die.
