A member asked:

I have bilirubin count of 25.9 is it dangeroous and can it be cured?

Not dangerous: If your bilirubin level is stable, do not worry about. 2-3% of otherwise normal men have slightly elevated bilirubin without any ill-effects. If you need a label, you probably have Gilbert "disease" even though it is not a disease. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
