Heavy period, frequent clots, sometimes a tampon an hour. have upcoming gyn appt . traveling out of country next week. any immed concern to consider?

Need evaluation: Glad you are seeing your GYN soon, concern would be how would you manage a heavy period during travel, what it is really bad, so discuss these situations with your GYN

Heavy period: I would tell you it probably would be bad to run into problems in a foreign country and have to go to the ER. You need a full evaluation and I'm sure your Gyn will do that. There is a medicine called lysteda that can be used to decrease your flow in the mean time.
