A member asked:

When someone with leukemia get's symptoms such as bone pain and bruising, how bad would it be on a scale from 1-10?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: That is a difficult question to answer since different people experience pain differently. The pain scale we typically use is a subjective scale. What might be a three for one person could be a seven for another person. The best use of the scale is to judge an individuals response to pain treatment interventions.
