Chronic leukemia: Yes, absolutely. Very frequently, a diagnosis of chronic leukemia is made due to abnormal blood work without presence of significant symptoms. In acute leukemia- however, as the process is progressing very agressive in a very short period of time - one will be presented to a health provider with some symptoms in addition to significant abnormal blood counts.
