A member asked:

My son has what looks like swollen lymph nodes. one large on the left of his neck and a smaller one on the right. he has no signs of illness???

Not unusual: Children can have enlarged lymph nodes with or without infectious causes. Most of the time these are just reactive lymph nodes and will resolve over time. Seek immediate treatment if the lymph node is red, warm or painful. If the lymph node does not resolve in a 4-5 days have his primary care provider evaluate the lymph node.
