It can, but....: Those are not common reactions. It should be out of your system in 15 hrs. The blood half-life is 2-1/2 hrs and almost all drug clear the system in 6 half-lives. These symptoms might be related to the original problem - consider calling a Dr or another ER visit. TELL them everything you've been given! i hope you feel better soon.

Talk to ER: Vomiting can be a side effect of Dilaudid, and while diarrhea's a little less common, I would not rule it out. (IV Dilaudid could last in your system up to 15 hours.) One question is: were caused by the Dilaudid, a complication of the reason you went to the ER, or both. Either way, without knowing more about why you went, get back in touch with the ER for further advice.
