No periods off Depo: is common and it takes 6-9 months for it to get out of your system completely. You are at risk for getting pregnant even without a period, so use reliable birth control now if you don't want a pregnancy right now. After 9 months with no period, a patient should see her GYN who can run some tests to look for other causes of no periods (thyroid, prolactin, stress).
