Trigs: Your fruit intake is not the cause of your increase in triglycerides. Triglycerides can fluctuate a daily basis based on the fat content in your previous meals despite fasting. Alcohol also can raise triglycerides. For diabetics I tell them to aim for between 100 and 150 grams of carbohydrates a day.
