Urine WBC, UTI, STD?: The Azo urine leukocytes (WBC) test gives a clue about urinary tract infection, but that's all. WBCs can appear in the urine from vulva or vaginal fluids if not a good "clean catch" specimen. Discuss with doctor if you have typical UTI symptoms (urgency, burning). If not, retest and don't worry if leukocytes normal. STDs also can cause urine WBC with negative culture, so get checked if at risk.
