A member asked:

Can meloxicam be taken with hydocod/acetam 5-325 mg?

Yes. These 3 drugs: (hydrocodone, acetaminophen & meloxicam) are in different families and all work to control pain in different ways. I will caution you, however, that nausea is a common side effect of hydrocodone and indigestion is a common side effect of meloxicam. It's always best to take the lowest amount of medication needed to control your pain. Dr. Anne

Yes: These drugs work differently in controlling pain, so they may be taken together.
