I used wax strips for my upper lip which formed a scab. i am now left with a dark black mark, i think due to hyperpigmentation. is this treatable?

Common, Not Serious: Post inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) is common in patients of color after any inflammatory trauma (cut, burn, surgery). This commonly fades with time, but can take months. Avoid intense sun exposure until cleared. Prescription topical hydroquinone (HQ) creams can sometimes speed resolution. A dermatologist or facial plastic surgeon can hook you up.
