Skin irritation: I think you should be examined for a reaction from ther application.

Allergic reaction: Little redness and bumps after cold waxing is common, if those changes and pain persist for more than 24 hrs you may have allergic reaction to the ingredients of the wax strip. You can try antihistamine like benadryl (diphenhydramine) , if not better consult your physician.
