Reoccurring pain directly under bottom left rib above stomach. doesn't hurt when lying down, only when in an upright position and worse when walking.

Pain under left rib: May be gastritis/ GERD with or without H pylori or consider gas/stool/rarely lesion polyp in colon (it rides high) . May also be musculoskeletal- rarely if very active spigelian hernia. Consider ranitidine/ previcid , if not helpful consider CT of abdomen/ or GI follow up. .
