Will caffiene anhydros show up in a urinalisis?

Dr. James Lin answered

No, usually...: The common routine urinalysis tests the following features of a urine specimen: pH, sp gr, clarity, protein, hemoglobin, bilirubin, urobilinogen, nitrite, leukocyte esterase, bacteria, and microscopic exam for WBC, RBC, cast, etc. but would not test the drugs such as caffeine, for which a special set of panel is used.
