No: A little bit of caffeine consumed by an older child is probably harmless, but i'd suggest discouraging this habit. Kids who are tired need sleep, not stimulants.

Not okay: Children, particularly toddlers, are more sensitive to the effects of caffeine and intake should be limited. Effects of caffeine include: jitteriness and nervousness, upset stomach, headaches, difficulty concentrating, difficulty sleeping, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure.
