Below skin?: I would guess you are finding lumps under the skin and these are your lymph nodes. These can become noticable with infection and the like. Ask someone to examine your scalp for ticks or lesions. If persists see your doctor. Make sure you have goid hygiene.

Viral infection?: Infection often causes enlarged lymph nodes and may not always cause noticeable symptoms. However if this continues to spread after 2 weeks or the bumps stay for more than a month, you should consult your doctor about this problem.
