Hearing damage: can occur with ear buds, but this typically occurs with the music turned up too loud. Low or moderate volume is probably safe. Remember many things cause hearing loss. If you think you are starting to loose your hearing have it evaluated by a PCP (ear wax) then if no obstruction proceed to pure tone audiometry and a speech discrimination threshold.
