Late period/cramps: Would check blood HCG, consider sonogram as if retained non viable products -HCG will be negative and sono will also check for polycystic ovaries, lesions and any tubular infection.. Check thyroid ( TSH/T4), check CBC , sed rate CRP. Would also check prolactin level for pituitary function. f/u/ w/ gyn for assessment of infection, ovaries.
