Depends: It depends on what type of laxatives you take every day. Some laxatives, like bulk forming (for example metamucil or psyllium) are safe to take every day. Some are dangerous to take every day like stimulant laxatives (for example dulcoloax) because your body might become dependent on them. Increasing fiber in diet and water intake are safe ways to help with constipation. See doc if not helping.
