A member asked:

I'm trying to have a baby. my pap smear came back pap 4a conization. that's cervical cancer, can i still have a baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Biopsy diagnosis?: Until the cervix is biopsied via Colposcopy or other means, the Pap smear diagnosis is irrelevant. We use the biopsied tissue to determine and document the diagnosis. Future pregnancy is possible if it is not invasive cervical cancer and even then eggs can be harvested from your ovaries prior to definitive surgery.
