Can large doses of ibuprofen cause petechiae? i am prescribed duexis for ra which contains 800 mg of ibuprofen to be taken 3 times a day.

Yes : Yes ibuprofen inhibits platelettes and as such can cause such bleeding. Let your doctor know and you may have to try other alternatives.
