Is it common for cancer to start or spread to lymph node behind ear? male 19 no other problems except irritated outer ear skin.

Tough to say...: An enlarged lymph node behind the ear can be as simple as a skin and/or hair infection on the scalp (e.g. tinea capitis-- fungal infection on scalp and hair). However, without seeing what your describing on your ear and knowing other symptoms, it's impossible to exclude a potentially more concerning diagnosis.

Do you need to have cancer present in a lymph node to make all of your other lymph nodes enlarged due to cancer? I have 2 pea sized lymph nodes at the back of my head which haven't in 6 months, so can they cause my other nodes to become enlarged?
