How might i go about finding a reputable doctor to do surgery on a hiatal hernia?

Scope of practice: I would check with the medical staff office of the hospital i would like to go to, check which surgeons have haital hernia repair privileges, schedule an apointment with the doctor, complete the exam and be informed of the treatment recommendations. Perhaps surgery is not the best treatment at this time. There are multiple surgical techniqes for hiatal hernia repairs. Most comon is a nissen fundo.
