Find a surgeon: Medical doctors are reluctant to refer patients with reflux for surgery. 20 years ago when laparoscopy got popular, too many had bad results from inappropriate surgery. A surgeon who does enough fundoplications will know if you are a candidate for sure- i would not do too much more testing if you are correct about the combination of the hh ; barretts but others would still get manometry ; ph test.

Surgery not needed: In every one , if can be treated successfully with medical treatment , it is a premalignant condition , need close follow up is needed with frequent biopsies. . If you are unhappy with your doctor's decision take a second opinion to keep your mind at ease.
