Exhaustion vs nature: The use of any hand held devise /computer or TV within an hour of bedtime may prevent the brain from settling into pre-sleep patterns. What you are doing is pushing to the edge of exhaustion and then the body gives up. I would try turning it all off an hour before you want to go to sleep.Taking a warm shower and maybe 3-5 mg of melatonin for a while could get you into a healthier pattern.
