It depends: It depends on the reason you are taking it, how long you are taking it, and what kind of side effects you have. Like any other medication, they can give you side effects (drowsiness, dizziness, stupor, etc.). You should have your doctor advise you on this as other factors determine how much YOU can safely take of this medication as this med can be psychoactive. Max dose is 80 mg per day.
