Good BP on Rx?: This depends on many factors that you and your Dr. need to discuss. 1. Is your BP device accurate? 2 Are the BPs taken by your Dr. accurate-many are not. 3. Other problems including heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease. 4. Why do they think your BP is high? 5. Most people should expect to need 2 BP meds to get to goal 6. Are you eating too much salt. 7. Look at DASH eating plan to lower BP.
