I didnt realize im not allowed to have red dye before my colonoscopy. my appointment is for 11am and i ate red jello at 3pm... is that really bad?

Notify the doc: Red dye is not allowed because it may be difficult to distinguish between blood and jello when looking through the scope. If you ate it before the "cleanse" it is probably fine. Worst case scenario (plenty bad) is that the procedure would have to be repeated.
