RLQ pain: The issue most concerning with RLQ pain is the appendix. Usually feverish, more intense pain, etc. would raise concern for an appendix issue (inflammation/infection). As you stated, the Doc examined you, so it sounds like the "watchful" advice is fine. Any fever, worsening pain etc-go to the Emergency Room. Best wishes.
