Don't worry: Be assured that a normal pap smear 3 mo ago is very reassuring. Many women can have some uterine cramping or mild spotting after intercourse, due to contact with the cervix. In younger women, the skin on the cervix is very delicate and can bleed quite easily. The cramping should ease up soon. You can use a heating pad for comfort, or try some ibuprofen. Spotting between periods is common.
