Avoid narcotics lo: You need to avoid long term narcotics. You can have your physicians have you see a rheumatologist to be certain you are getting the full casette of therpy available

For temporary pain : Relief Yes, but long term benefit No. Neither one should be used as sole therapy for pain control or disease management. I would highly recommend for you to be eval by a rheumatologist.
