Maybe gastritis: This sounds like you could have acid reflux or inflammation of your stomach lining - called "gastritis". You may benefit from an antacid medication, such as Pepcid (famotidine) or Prilosec. Even if you do have a good response with this, you should see a doctor to investigate the root cause, because those medications may help the symptoms but not always treat the underlying condition.
