Eustachian tube: Your eustachian tubes are blocked. Often this happens with a typical cold virus, after a sore throat when your sinuses fill up. The swelling in the sinuses blocks the drainage from your inner ear. It can take a week or more for this to resolve. It's not dangerous, just annoying. You can try a decongestant like phenylephrine to help speed the process. Don't smoke. Don't "pop" your ears.
