How might you make the pains of kidney stones hurt less?

Prevention: Ureteral obstruction is about the worst pain a person can endure. Prevent the next stone through improved hydration/diet. Consider metabolic evaluation to help determine why you make stones and what can be done to prevent them. If a ureteral stone doesn't pass within a few days, a urologist can treat it or place a stent to decompress the kidney.
