None -> many: Flank pain w stones, kidney infection, abscess, urinary reflux, or obstruction. Blood in urine w nephritis, stones, infection, trauma, cancer, tuberous sclerosis, av malformation. Abdo pain & vomiting w hydronephrosis. Ankle &/or eyelid swelling w nephrotic syndrome or kidney failure. Thirst & frequent urination w diabetes insipidus, headache & high BP w kidney artery stenosis. Frothy urine =protein.
